Microsoft is doing it again…dominating the technology market-Surface Computing

Hmm, Microsoft, ….interesting…

I am not a very big fan of Microsoft prominently because of the lack of security they usually provide in their products(Xbox 360 getting hacked the first day it came out by Persians), but I can vehemently conclude that they do offer the most innovating technology first in the market. Even though sometimes its a bit weak and easy to crack, it certainly provides a baseboard in which other companies work on till perfection

So exactly what have they done…again? Two words: Surface Computing. What would you do if interacting with your computer was far beyond keyboard, mouse, or even virtual reality? You would initially think its impossible. Well Microsoft at a recent All things Digital conference in California, they introduced such a category in the technology market. Basically, this technology makes USING the computer a lot easier. No need for mouse and keyboards when you can use your fingers, pencils, or even chap-stick to navigate your way through.

Interesting eh? How does this Sci-fi gizmo work?

While going through some examples, Microsoft showed that if someone put a glass of wine on the surface, the outcome would be that the computer would show a list of recommended wines, other foods that would go well with it, and even from WHICH VINEYARD it came from. Sounds impossible but its very possible with Microsoft. In assisting the beauty of the technology, four components will be implemented for proper use. This also includes the fact that more than one person can access a computer simultaneously(finally!!!!) as long as the device triggering is accurately selected.

With such technology, their are companies trying to establish the investment for a better, lucrative future. Harrah’s Entertainment, T-Mobile U.S.A, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide will be some of the four companies investing for a profitable business. This would probably successful if Microsoft make what they show. With that said, the best option would be to buy Microsoft’s stocks when it comes out and look out for future updates on Surface Computing. Now only if they can improve upon their security, the company would be widely appreciated.
