What is one way schools can be more focused on learning?

Schools can make learning more focus by changing many things. First of all, pointless projects and long homework is usually very repetitive and wisdom is rarely gained so they must stop.
Following changes must be made:
1)Sports should be done during summer time because of the time it takes. Lacrosse takes 2 hours of (8-10 pm) practice everyday.(as my alliances described it)
2)People need to stop slacking off so to enforce this, the administration must do what children favor the most which is add analogies that attracts them.
3)The biggest reason is make the school timings from about 10-7 because it gets everyone refreshed and do everything they need.

If these changes are made, there would be many more geniuse in this world and common sense would be more common.
