U.S recalls 43,000 lead tainted Halloween teeth, because they contained high levels of lead. Additionally, 6,000 sets of military-style Elite Operations toys were recalled, including action figures and vehicles, and 1,500 Ribbit board games. Do note, that all these products are distributed by the chain stores of “Toys “r” us”. Additionally many other products were recalled just as the collecting candy buckets, just because for the simple reason: high levels in lead, which can cause brain damage, slowed growth, learning disability, and changes in behavior.

We all live in such a diverse place, whether it be Canada, U.S, France - there is always something unique among us, because of diversity. For example, I am sure everyone has different items at home which are made from different parts of the world. Globalization has helped us achieve what we once only imagined. We once only imagined getting a old collectible painting from Peru, but now it’s all possible. We all have different furniture, collectibles, but what about our clocks? Many home I go to, still have a same old simple clock. Well, from the looks of it, this site got a nice touch of page rank and it ranked 1. The pagerank scale runs for a scale of 1-10, and is purely based on the quality of links. As you might be aware, this site is not too old, so a pagerank of 1 isn’t so bad. As long it is better than 0, and google is giving atleast some authority to it. That’s all it matters.

If you own a website, you too should’ve gotten a pagerank if you had some backlinks (quality), and just be happy that you atleast got it. However, the whole blogosphere was hit in general with the pagerank as many top bloggers such ProBlogger, Johnchow, went from nearly PR 6 to a minuscule PR 4. Ouch doesn’t that hurt.

Some useful tips in building up pagerank for the next update.

- Avoid buying and selling excessive links. Google doesn’t like that.

- Get backlinks from high quality sites. Write a good quality article and Digg it.

-Stay away from affiliate programs that link to your site. Meaning they have their link such as just the domain name. Google don’t like dat’, and Widgetbucks got slapped for that.

Yep, Iphone has announced that it will not sell any iphones in cash. No more cash. Is it because they have too much too carry, and the carrying costs causes them tension at night? No, apparently it’s not that, but it can be. They claimed that over 1.3million phones have been altered, and those hackers are kind of screwing them over. So to maximize, they will only sell on CC and only 2 per person. Go figure.

Apple has apparently instituted a credit card-only policy for iPhone sales at its retail stores in order to guarantee supply for the holidays and frustrate potential resellers, according to multiple reports.

Would-be iPhone buyers must now present a credit or debit card if they want to take home an iPhone, and they’re also now limited to just two units, as they were on iPhone Day, according to The Associated Press. The AP quoted an Apple representative explaining the move as a way of making sure there are enough iPhones for the holidays and to prevent unauthorized resellers from flooding the market.

It’s not clear whether the same policy applies to AT&T stores. I e-mailed the Apple representative quoted in the AP report late Friday evening and haven’t heard back.

Before Thursday, when the policy was implemented, you could walk into any Apple store and plunk down cash for up to five iPhones. While the concerns about supply are harder to gauge from a distance, the credit card policy seems designed to make sure buyers leave a paper trail.

You can’t really enforce a purchasing limit if the customer pays cash. How would Apple know if I walked into the downtown San Francisco store this afternoon and bought two iPhones with cash, then drove over to the Stonestown Galleria or down the road to Palo Alto, and picked up two more? Would-be unlockers might also be wary about using a credit card to pay for their purchases, even though unlocking isn’t illegal. Apple is definitely paying attention to the market for unlocked iPhones, estimating earlier this week that 250,000 people have purchased an iPhone with the intention of unlocking it from AT&T’s network.

Apple is apparently well within their rights to refuse to accept cash, as outraged as our resident libertarians might feel. U.S. businesses don’t have to accept cash if they don’t want to, according to the U.S. Treasury’s Web site, unless there is a state law that specifically requires them to accept cash.

I’m sure there are at least a few people who were thinking about equipping their family of four with iPhones this Christmas. The reports make it sound like the restriction will just last throughout the holidays, but that hasn’t been clarified as of right now.”

Only through holidays? I guess they want to maximize during the main season. who care after holidays.

Not too long ago, Facebook sold 2% of its company to microsoft for a hefty amount which was around $240 million. Facebook is one of the top 10 sites visited in the U.S., and it has approximately 10 billion pageviews a month. Additionally, Facebook was valued at $15 billion dollars  Well, now facebook is just on the streak of expansion, and just about every giant in tech industry wants to have some of the goods it offers.

“College parties met business e-mail on Wednesday as Facebook Inc. said it is adding its social-networking platform to Research In Motion Ltd.’s BlackBerry devices.

T-Mobile USA Inc. will be the first carrier to build a Facebook application into the BlackBerries it sells, but BlackBerry users on any network will be able to download the application starting later Wednesday, Facebook Co-Founder and Vice President of Engineering Dustin Moskovitz said in a keynote address at the CTIA Wireless I.T. and Entertainment show in San Francisco.

In the keynote, Moskovitz demonstrated taking a photo with a BlackBerry Curve device, adding tags to it and posting it to Facebook without even starting up the Facebook application. Other features include the ability to set special ringtones for Facebook events and invite friends to join Facebook through BlackBerry e-mail. But it’s the open nature of Facebook’s platform, which allows third parties to add new applications, that sets the company apart, Moskovitz said.

The tie-up brings together the highest profile social-networking player, with almost 50 million active users, and an enterprise mobile pioneer vying for market share against Microsoft Corp., Palm Inc., Symbian Ltd., Apple Inc. and other device and OS vendors. Executives of the two companies met at the CTIA Wireless Show in March in Orlando and agreed to work together, Moskovitz said. Openness is the key factor they had in common, he said.

Starting from a base of thousands of colleges and high schools, Facebook last year opened its network to anyone, and members over 35 years old are the fastest-growing segment, Moskovitz said. RIM has its roots in corporate e-mail tied to specialized enterprise servers, so the partnership could help Facebook grow right where it’s catching up.

The announcement came as Microsoft was buying a $240 million minority stake in Facebook, a purchase that values the company at about $15 billion.

Facebook also announced a few other advances in the mobile arena, where it expects to have 4 million active users by the end of this month. There are Facebook services available on most major U.S. and Canadian carriers, and Moskovitz announced its first carrier deal outside North America, with O2 (U.K.) Ltd.”
