As we might be aware of our economy status, we have to be aware of the competitive markets in which companies clash for providing a better product for cheaper. I’ll have to say Sony finally made a decision, and that’s by cutting the prices of playstation 3.
Recently, Sony launched PS3 in the European market, and they have certainly, given them some sympathy by giving them a price break. They keep taking advantage of us, but I think they realized the dollar isn’t worth getting, so they probably don’t care about us anymore. That’s something to ponder about. Companies becoming mean due to the dollar dropping. Why wouldn’t you? You are losing money. Who cares about emotions when doing business.
Back to Ps3, The PS3 is now available in 40gb! W00t, because it is cheaper.
Sony has dropped the price of the 60GB UK PS3 from £425 ($870) to £350 ($715). The value pack still contains two games and a couple of controllers, but is only available while stocks last.
Additionally, the 40gb is now E 300 ( $600). They had a 50 euro cut on that. However, it only has 2 usb slots, no bundled games together, and the harddrive is around 20gb less.
But, sony has decided to make more money by cutting down the PS2 emulation. You can’t play no more ps2 games on it, because they claimed that “people don’t want it”. Best part is, you can play your ps1 games. Like anyone still turns it on. Seriously, they should’ve even taken that out. Well, not a bad choice after all. Price is what it matters. Cheap stuff = good.
