IBM, more memory, cheaper price

IBM has allegedly developed, according to sources, a new type of digital storage system that could greatly increase the capacity of portable devices at a much reduced price, great for us! This new type of memory storage method is called ‘Racetrack’ memory, it utilises spinning electrons to store more data, and enables these systems to operate much faster than any regular hard drives The new system does not use any moving parts making it similar to flash memory, which reduces the likelihood of mechanical malfunction. However, unlike flash memory, it can write data at an extremely fast rate and will not ware out easily over time. Unfortunately for us this now storage is still classified as experimental so it will be an annoying 10 years till we see it in our shops, damnation.
